After years of experience working in different dental offices across the country, I wanted to open a dental practice in Sunnyvale, where I could truly put patients' needs first and foremost. My goal with every visit is to provide the best level of comfort and service possible. I want every patient to leave with a smile and a good feeling.

​I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Following high school, I moved to Detroit, Michigan to attend an accelerated dental education program at the University of Detroit Mercy.  There, I received both my Bachelors of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. This is also where I met my wife, Michelle. Together, we moved to the Bay Area in the fall of 2016.

As a general dentist, I provide comprehensive dental care for a wide range of patients with varying needs. My greatest source of accomplishment comes from being able to help patients. I especially enjoy providing emergency dental care for the community.

​When not with patients, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Currently, most of my free time is spent running or with our two corgis, Dragon and Kona. Ask me how I ran a half-marathon a little over 2 months after completing my first 10K.

When Andrew and I first met in Detroit, he asked me, "Why do you want to be a dentist?" My answer was quick: "I love helping people." I am excited to have our office in Sunnyvale - where patients come first and we can truly care for them as we would our friends and family.

I was born and raised in San Jose. While receiving my B.S. in Biochemistry/Cell Biology from UC San Diego, I found my passion for serving the community through the UC San Diego Student-Run Free Dental Clinics. After earning my D.D.S. from the University of Detroit Mercy, I returned to the Bay Area, where I advanced my skills through residency training in downtown San Jose. Throughout, I have continued to serve my patients and give back by working part-time in a community clinic. I am excited to be in Sunnyvale and love having the ability to change my patients' lives by changing their minds about the dentist and transforming their smiles.

I enjoy soaking up the California sun with my friends and family, Andrew, and our two corgis. I also spend my time eating (or thinking of food), baking, and working out (in particular yoga and spinning!). Ask me about my favorite places to eat or grab boba!

I joined the Mint Dental Care team because I truly believe patient care comes first. I enjoy helping them improve oral health and achieve great smiles. 

I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, and moved to California at the age of 12. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, obtaining my B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology, and then received my D.D.S. from the University of California, San Francisco.  I am passionate about providing comprehensive and personalized care to my patients by listening to their concerns and prioritizing their needs.  

On the weekends, you will find me exploring the city looking for good eats and drinks. I also enjoy soaking up the sun while exploring nearby trails. Ask me where to grab a good brunch after a hike!
